Update: 2022-10-07
Description
We're at the halfway point of the college football season and with so much more to be decided and so many more compelling games on the schedule, The Crossover prepares you for the weekend in Black College Football.
The MEAC begins conference play this weekend and outside of the usual suspects, there might be a surprise contender for the conference title. Chris talks about which team that could be as well as what the contenders need to do to secure their sports.
The SWAC East race could official end this weekend, so Chris focuses on the SWAC West, which has a surprise team at the top at the moment, but that could change.
Chris also talks about Tennessee State's struggles, Hampton's rude CAA welcome and A&T getting better as the season goes on.
In Division II, the SIAC has two great division races, but Chris explains why that could be coming to an end soon.
Lastly, the CIAA has a few unexpected teams in unexpected places, so Chris talks about who's good, who's been disappointing and who's still lurking in the shadows as a contender
